Who We Are....And What We Do.

This blog is dedicated to a party called GIRLS & BOYS. We throw this party weekly every Wednesday night in NYC at a lovely venue called Arlo & Esme on 1st St. in between 1st & 2nd Ave in Manhattan. It's been a success from day one and we have more fun than you do on any Wednesday night (that is if you aren't at our party). :) Here's the heart and soul of who makes G&B the best party in NYC on a Wednesday night...

First we have our dear Alex English! He is one of the coolest people you will ever meet, I promise. He's been DJing for over a decade now and also is the talent buyer and dj for GBH. If you live in NY and haven't heard of GBH, then just stop reading and go back to making quilts.

Then we have Bad Decision DJs. They have been DJing together around NYC for a while now and have played at just about every party that matters in the last year. They NEVER disappoint! Give it up for Ray & Gavin for being rad as hell and incredibly talented. (BAD DECISION FUN FACT: If you scratch Gavin's back, he will love you forever. That is another promise.)

Next up is Famous Friends. This party posse has been tearin' up the DIY and NYC nightlife scene for just about a year now and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. Whether its promoting, partying, dj'ing, hosting or just dancing, this crew has it all. Check out Ruthie, Beth, Bradley D or VDRK on a dance floor near you...or every Wed. night at G&B!

Then we have the badass dj duo, Kids With Snakes. Let me tell ya people, these kids do not fuck around!! They've been killin it for a year now and see no end in sight. If you can't find them behind the decks or on the dance floor, just pop into the closest bodega and you'll probably find them refilling on Sparks!

And last but certainly not least, is our dearest RekLES! Not only did this kid get the award for Best DJ in NYC by L Magazine Nightlife Awards last year, but he is probably one of the funniest dj's you'll ever meet. How can you not love Daniel?!
